About Me:

My name is Kayla Boswell! I’m a local & travel photographer/videographer (and yes, a DJ too!) in the Jacksonville, Florida area and beyond. I first jumped into the photography business right after high school. I was drawn to the creative outlet that photography and videography provided, especially as someone aspiring to get more involved in filmmaking and cinematography. From capturing family and maternity sessions to graduations, couples, and even unique, spontaneous shoots for individuals, I love creating lasting memories and meaningful, intimate experiences.

When it came to the DJ industry, I was influenced by all the music around me. Growing up, I always enjoyed creating and curating playlists for perfect moments and fun birthday parties. I loved the thought of being in control of the energy of a party.

I officially started my DJ career at 22, working with The Jeff Bell Experience. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of DJ-ing a wide variety of events—from birthday parties and wedding anniversaries to bar mitzvahs, pool parties, and more.

Now, being a DJ is more than just a job—it’s a true passion. There’s nothing like reading a crowd and playing the music they want to hear. Every event is a new opportunity to bring people together through music, and I feel lucky to do what I love.

Here are some fun facts about me:

  • My favorite TV shows are Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Peaky Blinders and This Is Us.

  • In my free time, I’m either at the beach, thrifting, hiking, painting, or working on writing as an aspiring journalist.

  • I love cats! I own a black cat named Loki (huge marvel fan)!

  • I listen to a wide range of artists and bands, so my music taste is all over the place- from Alice In Chains to Hozier, Lady Gaga, Fleetwood Mac, Bad Bunny, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Foster The People, Greta Van Fleet, Kid Cudi, Brent Faiyaz…
